Fall 2026 Schedule

Games start August 16, 2026 , with the season tournament scheduled for October 4 and October 11, 2026.

League Reminder: The Streator Soccer League will observe Labor Day weekend with no scheduled games.

Game Play

Game Field is located at Oakland Park (508 James Street, Streator)

All players must wear shin guards and their assigned team jersey to participate.

  • Games run every hour and twenty minutes.
  • Two 35-minute halves
  • 5-minute halftime
  • One referee per match
  • Format: 6v6 (5 Field Plays and 1 Goal Keeper)
  • Field Size: U10

SSL enforces a zero-tolerance policy for players and spectators regarding alcohol, drugs, smoking, and violent or harassing behavior. Violations may result in immediate removal and disciplinary action.

Tournament: October 4 and October 11

Games will be scheduled according to Season standings.

Weather and Field Conditions

The League reserves the right to delay, suspend, reschedule, or cancel matches due to weather conditions, unsafe field conditions, or directives from the City.

Decisions regarding weather-related cancellations or delays will be made by the League and are final. Player safety shall be the primary consideration.

Forfeit Policy

A game shall be declared a forfeit under any of the following circumstances:

  • A team is unable to field a minimum of five (5) players at the scheduled start time of the match.
  • A team fails to appear for a scheduled match.
  • A team provides notice of forfeiture to the League.
